The Eighth Walk and Ride
This will take place on 9th May 2010 starting from Bicton Arena between 8,30am and 1.00pm.
Raise Money for Charity and Have Fun
This year’s Sponsored Walk and Ride will take place on 9th May 2010, a sponsored “family fun” charity event organised by the Rotary Club of Exmouth for walkers or cyclists wishing to raise funds for their favourite charity, club or good cause.
All adult entrants are invited to pay a minimum donation of £5 per walker/cyclist over the age of 15 and are encouraged to raise sponsorship money.
- You can use this opportunity to raise money for your Charity or Club and we will be happy to provide you with sponsorship forms.
- The Walks and Ride are through beautiful East Devon countryside and include Woodbury Common, and the lovely villages of Colaton Raleigh, East Budleigh and Otterton. In addition the Walks start through the Bicton College Arboretum and end via picturesque Bicton Gardens. Enjoy a picnic en-route and return to a welcome cup of tea.

Both “The Walk!” and “The Ride!” will take you through some of Devon’s finest scenery including :
- The Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site
- The Coastal Part of the Walk
- The Woodbury Common heath lands of national importance
- Bicton Park Botanical Gardens
- Bicton College Arboretum
