The Kite Festival is over for this year and thank you to all who took part and helped to organise the event and to the public for their support. Keep an eye on this site for details of the exciting events taking place at the 2010 Festival.
Flying Over Exmouth
Exmouth is now firmly in the Kite Flyers calendar. We are planning the 4th Rotary Kite Festival which will be held on the Imperial Recreation Ground on June 4th, 5th and 6th 2010.
Our site on the edge of the River Exe is a superb location and unique in the kite flying world that you can enjoy both kites on land and the kite surfers on the water, all at one venue.
The Rotary Club of Exmouth are grateful for some financial support from local traders and the Town Council but the ultimate aim is to raise an awareness for some of our local charities and worth while causes and to help them with financial donations from the success of the event. In the first two years the Rotary Club of Exmouth were able to help the local charities swell their funds by £26,000+ see our beneficeries page for more details.
